Excavation & Site Work services in Coral Springs
Coral Springs was chartered in 1963 and built from a master plan on former farm and pasture land, not grown house by house. There are no springs. The water you see is a planned grid of canals and lakes run by special drainage districts, including the Coral Springs Improvement District, which has its own permit manual. Because the city was planned, most streets have matching swales, set driveway locations and deed-restricted neighborhoods with HOA review. The housing is largely from the 1970s through the 1990s, which puts original drain lines, driveways and pool decks at replacement age. The city also guards its tree canopy closely. For us that means work here is orderly but paperwork-heavy: drainage repairs that tie into district canals, driveway and patio base, trenching for upgrades, and clearing that accounts for every canopy tree and its replacement.

Permits and local rules
Coral Springs requires a no-charge tree removal permit before a single-family or duplex owner removes canopy trees or palms. HOA approval must be submitted with it, a tree trimmer licensed by Broward County must do the work, and each tree must be replaced within six months, shade tree for shade tree or three palms for one hardwood. Paving, drainage and excavation go through the Engineering Division's permit application.
